About Tara Hayes: Tara moved to Proctorville, Ohio 15 years ago from Weirton, WV with her son Jevon, who is now 22 years old. She has been working at Special Metals for 12 years. She remembers the first Zumba class she went to, enjoyed it, and kept going back because her friends loved it too.
After being placed on a special project at work that limited her time, she wasn’t excited to go back to class. She knew she had to find a new Zumba class to attend. She found Brickhouse Cardio Club with franchisee April Smith. And, she was hooked that day! She fell in LOVE with the class and was excited to leave work each day to exercise.
Just after a few months of going to Brickhouse, she knew she wanted to be an instructor and wanted to make a difference in other people lives. She wanted them to enjoy the workouts as much as she was doing each day. She received her Zumba license in October 2012.
Tara decided she wanted to open her own studio for the same reason she became an instructor, she wanted to make a difference. She wanted a place of her own to bring the party like atmosphere while working out.
She has already met so many instructors and franchise owners and Brickhouse Cardio Club truly feels like family!
